GENERAL GROOMING AGREEMENT

As part of our services, we do ask that customers agree to the following terms & conditions:

*Please disclose any and all known medical conditions / behavioral issues that my dog(s) may have, that may impact the safety of my dog(s), or the safety of the groomers.   

Occasionally, grooming can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one.  (This can occur during or after grooming.)   

*Authorize Sutton Styles Grooming LLC to seek medical treatment in the case of any medical emergencies while my dog is in their care.  

Although accidents are very rare, there is always a risk when dealing with animals.  Grooming equipment is sharp, and although we use extreme caution and care in all situations, possible problems could occur including cuts, nicks, scratches, quicking of nails, etc.  (In most cases this can happen when an animal is wiggling or moving around.)  Your dog’s safety and comfort is our number one priority.  In the event an accident does occur, you and your vet on file will be notified and we will seek treatment at our expense with our primary veterinarian.

*Agree that any dog left for grooming will be up-to-date on vaccinations, or if my dog is not up-to-date, I release Sutton Styles Grooming LLC from any and all liabilities that may result from the lack of such vaccinations.   

*Sutton Styles Grooming LLC strives to be a flea-free salon.  

If your dog has fleas, they will be given a flea bath at your expense ($15).   Ticks will be removed free of charge and you will be notified if any are found.   

*Understand that Sutton Styles Grooming LLC reserves the right to refuse services at any time.   

In the event that your dog is too stressed or becomes dangerous to groom, we reserve the right to refuse grooming services, stop grooming services, or cancel grooming services at any time before, during, or after grooming.  We will first give a one time free Holistic Energy Clearing to calm your dog down, and you will be notified at pick up. In some cases, muzzling may be able to calm a stressed animal and allow grooming to continue.  (We will not muzzle unless your pet gives us a reason to.) If your pet still acts in a way that is dangerous, we reserve the right to stop all grooming services and a grooming fee will be charged (for what was done up until that point). However, this is rare, once the dog is given an energy healing this usually takes care of the problem. Dogs generally like this process and will calm them right down.

*If I am unhappy for any reason with my pet’s groom and would like something adjusted, I will request the adjustment when I pick-up my dog.   Your satisfaction is important to us.  We will be happy to make any adjustments when you pick-up your dog from their appointment or at most 24 hours following the appointment.  After 24 hours, any return visit will be treated as a new appointment.  

*Authorize Sutton Styles Grooming LLC to take photos of my dog for their file and Social Media/website gallery.  Photographs are property of Sutton Styles Grooming LLC. I will let you know if I do not want my dog’s picture posted online.

*I agree to provide at least 24 hours notice if I will not be able to keep an appointment.  We understand that things happen and will work with you to reschedule when needed.  

“No Call, No Shows” or repeated cancellations, however, may result in the inability to schedule future appointments.  

*Sutton Styles Grooming LLC does not offer boarding  

We will notify you when you are able to pick up your dog and ask that you pick them up anytime before close.   A $10 / hour fee will be assessed for each hour after close.
